Troops from Abingdon based 4 Logistic Support Regiment are to receive service medals today for their time in Afghanistan.
They returned to Dalton Barracks in Oxfordshire last month and were seen marching through Abingdon earlier this week.
The 217 medals will be presented by His Royal Highness The Duke of Gloucester. The duties of 4 Logistic Support Regiment were to ensure that the forward operating and patrol bases on the front line were supplied with water, medical supplies, and ammunition.
