Police are appealing for witnesses after an 11-year-old boy was assaulted as he walked home from school.
The boy was walking on a path near Corfe Walk in Basingstoke at about 3pm on November 26, when an unknown man appeared from some bushes and punched him in the face.
The boy fell to the ground and the man ran off along Corfe Walk towards Warwick Road.
The man is described as white and of a large build. He had a black face covering and was wearing a black long-sleeved t-shirt, black trousers, white shoes and had a blue or green shoulder bag.
