An Australian widower is nearing the final stretch of his 100km "ultra marathon" from Inverness to Brighton.
Harald Ulriksen completed a 65 day expedition crossing Chile on foot, covering more than 3,700km, earlier this year:
He's running the 1,000km from Scotland to the south coast in just 14 days - averaging an incredible 45 miles a day. He should reach Brighton on Monday.
The daredevil athlete is attempting the challenge in honour of his wife who died of breast cancer, and is raising money for three cancer charities here.
