Crews from Oxfordshire County Council Fire & Rescue Service were called at 9 am to reports of a car that had come off the M40 and crashed into a field.
Fire crews responded quickly from Thame, Wheatley and Kidlington and on arrival discovered the car that had been involved in a crash between junctions 7 and 6 of the M40 southbound.
Luckily the only occupant of the car was able to get free from the car and was treated by the Ambulance Service.
Fire crews then worked with the Police, Highways Agency and Ambulance to make the vehicles safe.
