Sittingbourne man arrested
A 20 year old man's been arrested after reports of a burglary in Kemlsey on Boxing Day.
Police were called at 2.15am to a house on Beauvoir Drive where a couple had heard a noise downstairs and reported seeing a man leaving through the front door. He's thought to have run towards Edyngham Close.
The police helicopter was scrambled along with ground police and a dog unit as a short chase ensued. The man was found empty-handed in a bin at the back of a house on Gregory Close.
A Sittingbourne man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and bailed until February.
