A man has died after he fell from a motorway bridge in Hampshire. Officers shut the eastbound M27, between junctions five and seven, near Hedge End, shortly after midnight.
It came after Hampshire police received reports that a man had fallen from a bridge over the carriageway. The man, who has not been named, died at the scene. His death is not being treated as suspicious. The motorway has since re-opened.
