A British man has pleaded not guilty to having sexual encounters in the United States with a 13-year-old girl he reportedly met online.
Adam Robinson, 21, from Fleet, in Hampshire, is accused of committing a "lewd act upon a child" from December 15 to December 23.
The last alleged offence is said to have happened the day before the girl's 14th birthday, court documents in the US reveal.
Robinson appeared at San Bernardino Superior Court, in California, to deny all six charges.
A defence lawyer had been appointed to represent him and bail has been set at more than one million dollars.
Robinson will appear at a further hearing at the same court on January 9.
