Two teenagers have been charged with grievous bodily harm (GBH) after reports of a stabbing in Gillingham on New Year’s Day. Officers were called to Windmill Road at about 2.50am on 1st January 2013. A 28-year-old man from Gillingham is currently in a critical condition at Medway Maritime Hospital.
Stuart Porter, 18, of Buttermere Close in Gillingham has been charged with GBH and has been remanded in custody. A 17-year-old from Rochester, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, has been charged with the same offence.
Both are due to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court via virtual court on 3rd January 2013.
