Samantha Kidd, the estranged wife of daredevil motorbike rider Eddie Kidd - is appearing before Brighton magistrates today. Sussex Police have charged her with assaulting her husband six times within the space of four months between July and October 2012.
Mrs Kidd was freed on police bail in December with instructions not to contact Mr Kidd or visit the area where he lives, after the allegations of domestic abuse were made. Eddie Kidd, who uses a wheelchair, was paralysed when a stunt went wrong in August 1996.
