Many parts of the south have been covered in a light dusting of snow today - at the start of a week which could be one of the coldest of the winter so far.
And with temperatures set to drop below freezing tonight there are warnings that ice, rather than snow, could be the major threat tomorrow. Here's Richard Jones.
