Three Brighton & Hove Albion FC footballers and a former teammate have appeared before the Old Bailey charged with sexual assault and voyeurism at the Jury's Inn Hotel in Brighton. The offences are alleged to have happened in July 2011.
The footballers concerned are Anton Rodgers aged 19, Lewis Dunk aged 21, George Barker aged 21, and former teammate Steve Cook aged 21 who now plays for Bournemouth. They are alleged to have assaulted a 19-year-old woman at the hotel. All four men deny the charges
The men - Anton Rodgers and George Barker, both of Highview Avenue North in Brighton; Lewis Dunk of Woodbourne Avenue in Brighton, and Steve Cook of Perth Road in St Leonards-on-Sea in East Sussex - are on bail.
A jury has been sworn in. The case will be opened on Tuesday.
