With the temperatures plunging below zero, for many of us the solution is simple: turn on the heating. But for many others, having the heating on all the time is just too costly. And we can all do with saving money on our energy bills.
So, the advice from the NHS is to put on more layers of clothes even when indoors. And this afternoon a group of students in Maidstone put on an experiment to see what kind of clothes keep you warmest. David Johns reports.
