Police admit failings after dog attack
A dog attack which left ten people bitten could have been prevented by Sussex Police, the force has admitted. Two Staffordshire bull terrier crosses went on the rampage when they escaped from a house in St Leonards in July last year.
But it's emerged both dogs attacked a man two months earlier but their owner was not arrested. Spencer Brown was jailed in August. Sussex police is now giving staff dog legislation awareness training.
