The Headlines Today:- Do Not Touch - People are being urged not to touch birds covered in a greasy film and found on a Dorset beach. It's not known what the substance is. More than a hundred birds have been discovered that are affected, some have died.
Tributes Paid - A post mortem examination is due to be carried out on the body of a young woman found in a pool in a French ski resort. It's thought Lucy Sallis may have become trapped under a pool cover at Alpe d'Huez.
The Adventure Begins! Two Sussex adventurers are about to begin a journey from Cape Town to London - driving ten thousand miles in ten days and travelling in a Fiat Panda! Philip Young and Paul Brace will cross deserts and jungles and aim to cover one thousand miles a day.
