Swindon Town have moved a step closer to stability after contracts to sell the club were exchanged yesterday. A consortium from Oxfordshire hopes to takeover and wipe out most of the club's debt.
But the development didn't come soon enough to prevent the sale of one of their top players - winger Matt Ritchie - to Bournemouth. And as Robert Murphy now reports boss Paulo Di Canio told reporters he wasn't consulted about the move.
