Aircraft carrier to leave Portsmouth

The Royal Navy's new aircraft carrier is leaving her home base in Portsmouth this lunchtime for Scotland. The forward section of HMS Queen Elizabeth has been built in the Hampshire city - she'll now be completed in Rosyth.

Employees at Portsmouth Naval Base will be a fond farewell to the Royal Navy's new aircraft carrier today. HMS Queen Elizabeth is bound for Scotland where she'll be completed before heading back home to the Hampshire city.
