Staff at Weymouth Pavilion are concerned about jobs losses following a decision by the management committee that the Pavilion Theatre should close at the end of May 2013.
The facility will be offered to tender to any interested groups from the community, staff fear that their jobs will be lost before any new organisation takes over because of the time the process takes.
Twelve permanent staff are currently employed along with a large number of casual workers.
