Councillors have been invited to meet bookmakers in the Medway to discuss their concerns over fixed odds betting terminals. It comes after a meeting with the Gambling Commission over the council's concerns about the betting shop machines -
where you can bet anything from £100 to £18, 000 in an hour. The body that represents bookmakers told us they had every confidence that the machines could be used responsibly.
