Contamination tests on meat supplied to more than two hundred schools in Kent have been ordered by the county council.
It follows the discovery of BRITISH horse meat in burgers and kebabs during police raids in the north of England.
In Sussex and Essex, education chiefs are asking key suppliers for information on how their meat is sourced.
We spoke to Cllr Mike Whiting from Kent County Council.
