Detectives are investigating after what's thought to be human remains were discovered in Hampshire.
Police were called to an area of woodland off Basing Lane yesterday afternoon.
The area is currently cordoned off while specialist teams carry out enquiries. Detective Inspector Dave Brown said:
“We are in very early stages of this investigation and are examining all possible scenarios.
“The area is likely to be cordoned off for some time, but members of the local community should be reassured that there isn’t any risk to the public.”
