Charge in father-of-five death

A murder inquiry has been launched after a man was attacked in Kent. Paul Scott, 43, suffered a broken leg but initially refused hospital treatment. He later had his leg put in a cast but died suddenly in hospital after suffering a blood clot.

Widow's tribute to 'man with kindest heart'

The family of a father of five who died after being attacked in the street have paid tribute describing him as 'an exceptional man with the kindest heart'. Paul Scott died four days after breaking his leg when he was knocked to the ground in Gillingham in Kent.

Police have launched a murder investigation and are appealing for witnesses. Andrea Thomas reports.
