Kent Police have arrested a 21 year old man from Gillingham on suspicion of murder following the death of Paul Scott, 43, on Thursday. The father-of-five suffered a broken leg during an attack last Sunday but initially refused hospital treatment.

Days later he had his leg put in a cast but died suddenly in hospital. A post-mortem revealed he died after suffering a blood clot from the injury. Police then launched a murder inquiry.
