Remembering Richard Briers and The Good Life
The actor Richard Briers, known for his role in The Good Life and Roobarb and Custard, has died at the age of 79. He lived at Buckland, Faringdon, Oxfordshire. Prunella Scales has described the sitcom star as a "wonderful colleague and a dear friend" .
Prunella, best known for her role as Sybil in Fawlty Towers, played opposite Briers as his wife in Marriage Lines in the early 1960s.
