Day care centre charges: pensioners' views

Council tax looks set to rise 1.99% in Oxfordshire as the council aims to save £77m between now and 2017. The biggest savings will be £28m in Adult Social Care. Charges for day centres will triple in the next two years. Divya Kohli asked pensioners for their views.

Council tax rise in Oxfordshire

Cuts to services and a council tax rise are expected to be approved at Oxfordshire County Council's budget meeting today. £28m will be cut from the Adult Social Care budget which includes the tripling of charges for council run day centres.
