A man is due to appear before magistrates after a vehicle failed to stop for police in Gravesend. On Saturday 23 February, a Ford Transit failed to stop for police in the area of St Hilda's Way. Following a short pursuit, officers stopped the vehicle in Cervia Way and arrested its two occupants.
An 18-year-old woman from Gravesend was released without charge.
Anil Suman, aged 25, of Cimba Wood, Gravesend, has been charged with driving a vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence, using a vehicle without insurance, failing to stop a vehicle when directed by an officer, drink driving and dangerous driving.
