Police and Crime Commissioner for Dorset, Martyn Underhill, has vowed to monitor safety on the A31, following a fatal road traffic collision.
Officers were called at 8.23pm on Sunday 24 February 2013 to the collision on the westbound carriageway of the A31 near the Ashley Heath roundabout. The rider of a red moped, 16-year-old Jade Clark, was pronounced dead at the scene.
