Lorry hits bridge and drives off
A lorry has hit a bridge on South West Trains between Brockenhurst and Lymington Pier. Trains are currently unable to run. A bridge inspector is due to arrive on site to check if it is safe to run trains - services will be suspended until the bridge is declared safe.
– Hampshire police spokespersonWe received a call at 2pm to reports that a lorry carrying a container hit a bridge and then drove off. Network rail are investigating.
