Race to become UK City of Culture
Five places in the South and South East are bidding to become the UK City of Culture in 2017.
East Kent (covering Ashford, Canterbury, Dover, Folkestone and Thanet), Hastings and Bexhill on Sea, Portsmouth and Southampton and Southend on Sea are going head to head with six other locations.
