The family of a taxi driver killed along with one of his passengers in a crash in Kent have paid tribute to him, saying: "He will be missed forever."
Brian Maitland, 63, died at the scene of the three-car collision in Cranbrook Road, Knox Bridge, near Staplehurst.
Married father of two sons Mr Maitland, from Maidstone, was described as a loving father, grandfather and husband to wife Linda.
In a statement issued via Kent Police, his family said: "He was a keen gardener who enjoyed growing his own flowers and vegetables from seed.
"He was an active member of the Foresters Friendly Society and enjoyed organising events for them.
"Happiest spending time with his family and friends, he will be forever missed."
A post-mortem examination will take place next week as inquiries continue into the crash.
His passenger - a 47-year-old woman, who has not yet been named - also died at the scene.
An 18-year-old woman travelling in the back of the taxi remains in a stable condition in hospital.
The drivers of the other cars involved - a man in his 40s driving a Chrysler and a woman in her mid-40s driving a Ford Galaxy - were treated for minor injuries.
