Families who campaigned to save children's heart surgery in Southampton have been told there will NOT be another full consultation into cardiac centres across the country.
It was feared surgery in Southampton would be under threat, again, after a High Court case was brought by mothers in Leeds where the children's cardiac unit is due to close. But the judge ruled only the Leeds closure should be reconsidered.
