A charity which cares for young people who have suffered cruelty and neglect has reached its 750 thousand pound fundraising target. The Caldecott Foundation, based in Ashford, has been going for 100 years.
It will use the money to build a new vocational learning centre, helping some of the older children to learn workplace skills and train for jobs.
