A person has died after a fatal collision between a fire engine and a car on the B3075 at East Morden in Dorset. The police were called to Chitten Hill / Morden Road shortly after 8am on Sunday 14 April. One of the people in the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
The two other occupants of the car were airlifted to Southampton General Hospital where they are being treated for serious injuries.
Chitten Hill / Morden Road remains closed in both directions between the A35 (Morden Park Corner) and A351 Sandford Road.
The incident is separate to another fatal crash in the same area. Dorset Police are asking anyone with information about either incident to contact them on 101.
