The driver of a car has died in a fatal collision on the A35 near Morden Park Corner in Dorset. The police were called to the scene at 7.50am on Sunday 14 April. The car was the only vehicle involved in the incident. It happened between Bere Regis and the Bakers Arms roundabout at Lytchett Minster.
Dorset Fire & Rescue Service and the ambulance service also attended. The male driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Part of the A35 was closed for much of the morning for investigations and recovery work to be carried out. The A35 has now re-opened in both directions.
