Gillingham clinched the npower League Two title today despite surrendering a two-goal lead to AFC Wimbledon.
The already-promoted Gills drew 2-2 to seal their first silverware since 1964 after they claimed the point they needed at home.
Deon Burton and Danny Kedwell gave the newly-crowned champions a 2-0 lead at home over struggling Wimbledon, who are now one point adrift of safety ahead of their final game of the season against Fleetwood.
Jack Midson and Jon Meades both scored after the break for the visitors but they were unable to find a much-needed third goal which would have lifted them out of the relegation zone.
