Her Majesty the Queen enjoyed her second day at the races in Newbury in Berkshire today. Victories by Olympic Glory and Maureen at Newbury meant Richard Hannon and jockey Richard Hughes have taken three of this week's four British Classic trials.

Maureen, though, came three-quarters of a length clear of Agent Allison in the Dubai Duty Free (Fred Darling) Stakes and will join stablemate Sky Lantern in the 1000 Guineas on May 5.

Take Two (12-1) made it two-from-two since moving to the care of Alex Hales in the Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire Handicap under Andrea Atzeni, who dashed off to the sauna to make 8st 3lb in the Berry Bros & Rudd Magnum Spring Cup. It was to prove worth the sweating.
