Car thieves jailed after crime spree

Two car thieves who broke into homes across Kent and stole high performance vehicles have been jailed. Sam Roger James Holmes, 22 , and David Jordan Leadbeater, 23, admitted burglaries in Kent, Hampshire, Surrey and London where 35 vehicles were stolen.

The pair, who had each been disqualified from driving, targeted property in Tonbridge, Gravesend, Maidstone, Swanley, Sevenoaks, Whitstable, Deal, Herne Bay, Faversham, Gillingham and Chatham.

Holmes and Leadbeater, who posed for pictures in the stolen vehicles, were sentenced to a total of six years.
