A man found injured with a gunshot wound at an address in the St Mary’s area of Southampton has died from his injuries. Police were called to a property on Saturday morning. The man was taken to Southampton General Hospital but died later.
Police investigating the murder of 23 year old Jamal Jones in Southampton on Saturday have been granted more time to question four people.
The 36-year-old woman and three men aged 41, 21 and 18, all from Southampton, remain in custody.
A 21-year-old woman arrested in connection with the murder has been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
A post-mortem examination on the victim’s body revealed he died as a result of a shot gun wound to the head.
