A police officer has been charged with shoplifting.
Roger Toms, 41, a police constable based at Reigate in Surrey, is charged with stealing £153.56 worth of groceries from the Tesco store in Hazelwick Avenue in Crawley.
He has been bailed to appear at Crawley Magistrates' Court on 9 May
