As the days are getting longer and the evenings lighter, we're being urged to keep a look out for hungry hedgehogs.
Sussex Wildlife Trust says we can help by leaving out meals of dog or cat food and a dish of clean water.
When hedgehogs wake up properly it's crucial they find enough to eat as they're extremely thirsty and their fat reserves are low, having lost a third of their body weight during hibernation.
Please do not feed hedgehogs bread and/or milk as this creates health problems for them.
