Debate over Heathrow expansion continues

A committee of MPs says Heathrow Airport must be allowed to expand to provide urgently needed air capacity in the south. The Transport Committee said a third and even a fourth runway should be built away from existing terminals to reduce noise pollution.

MPs say build third runway

The solution to the regions aviation crisis is a third runway at Heathrow and not a new airport in the Thames Estuary, according to the Transport Select Committee.
