A child found dead at a house in Oxfordshire has been identified by police. Sarah Dahane, who was 20 months old, was found by officers in Bicester. It is believed her mother has left the UK and travelled to Kenya.
Thames Valley Police said a post-mortem examination has been carried out on Sarah, who was formally identified by her father, but the cause of death remains unexplained and further tests are due to take place.
Senior investigating officer Detective Chief Inspector Ian Hunter said: "Whilst the circumstances of Sarah's death remain unexplained, we are carrying out a detailed and thorough investigation to establish exactly how and why she died."
