It is understood display cabinets at a mosque in Gillingham in Kent were damaged in the incident. Kent Police have confirmed they were called to Canterbury Street in the town at 8.40 pm. Officers attended and a man was detained for questioning on suspicion of racially aggravated criminal damage.
