Police investigate attack on mosque

Kent Police has confirmed that it is investigating a report of criminal damage at a mosque in Gillingham.

The attack is being treated as racially aggravated and possibly connected to an earlier attack in Woolwich.

It happened at 8.40pm. A man has been arrested. It is believed that a bookcase was smashed.
