Man jailed for smuggling ecstasy

A man has been jailed for five years after attempting to smuggle 14 kilos of ecstasy into the UK through Dover.

Fabien Decodts, 38, from London was stopped as he drove his Mini off a cross-Channel ferry from Calais.

Border officers found eight packages hidden in the car and Dedcodts charged with the importation of class A drugs.

He was sentenced at Canterbury Crown Court.
