Thames Valley Police has charged a 32-year-old woman with attempted murder.
Jane Rogers, from Tilehurst, has been charged with the attempted murder of a 13-year-old boy, following an incident at a property in Tilehurst at just before 6am last Friday.
Following the incident, the boy was taken to hospital but was discharged the same day.
Rogers was also taken to hospital for treatment where she remained until yesterday when she was taken into custody at Reading police station and charged with attempted murder.
She is due to appear before Reading Magistrates’ Court later today.
