Marwell Zoo has announced the arrival of a new female tiger named Kushka. After travelling from Paradise Wildlife Park last Wednesday Kushka made her debut over the weekend. Aged 14, she has joined Marwell's existing Amur tiger Milla.
Kushka is on loan from Paradise and will provide company for Milla until she is joined by a new male tiger. The two females have welcomed each other’s company and have settled in well living together.
John Pullen from Marwell says: “Kushka has settled in really well. She is a very steady cat and has been keen to explore her new outdoor area. She has met Milla up close and they seem very happy together.”
