An 18-year-old woman was grabbed in Reading but managed to break free and run home.
The woman was walking home along Liebenrood Road on Wednesday June, 19 when a car pulled alongside her and the driver asked if she wanted a lift.
She declined, but the man grabbed the woman's arm and tried to pull her into the car.
The victim managed to push away and call police.
The man's car was described as small, dark blue and similar to a Citroen X1.
