Hundreds of items including mattresses, clothes, toys and even a washing machine, have been donated in a matter of hours to help people made homeless by a fire in Sheerness.
One person was forced to jump, and another fell from the burning building in Marine Parade on Monday. They are both still in hospital with serious injuries. A mother and her two children were also rescued.
