Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was injured in Andover last Wednesday.
Just before 5.45pm, the woman was stood in Roman Way when she felt a thump on her arm. When she checked she noticed a small red mark which she believes was caused by an air gun pellet.
Officers have also received a report from a man who was in the area at the same time and heard what he believed to be shooting and pieces of metal hitting off the lampposts as he was walking past.
