A 44-year-old Dorset man has been sentenced to seven years in prison for causing death by careless driving. Steven Anderson, of Forest Road, Poole, was more than two and a half times over the drink/drive limit.
The sentence followed a collision between junctions eight and nine, southbound on the M3 near Winchester on December 15 last year in which 55-year-old Andrew Greest, from Gosport, died.
